I'm not a gamer, but I love this keyboard, the Redragon BK7114. It should be standard for all PC's instead of those giant space-wasting keyboards that usually come with a computer. The only thing I would suggest is to add Home and End keys, which are very useful for word processing and other office software. It's o.k. for Pause and ScrLk to be Fn-combination keys, since those were only used in MS-DOS. And Fn-P for PrtScr is fine because you don't use that very often. But Fn-combinations for Home and End would make it difficult for office software. They're used a lot, and they're often used in combination with Shift or Ctrl. To turn off NumLock in order to use the Home and End keys on the numeric keypad would defeat one of the best features of this keyboard as compared to many other compact keyboards. If you squeeze the Function keys together to the left, as in my attached sketch, there would be room for two more keys to the right, near Ins, Del, PgUp, and PgDn. You don't really need the large space between each group of 4 function keys, since the contrasting colors take care of that. Those contrasting colors are another great feature of this keyboard.

BK7114 Scissor Low-Profile Slim Wireless Keyboard

I am overjoyed with the BK7114 keyboard... mine is in Grey but there is also a black model. I have had many keyboards over the years, some inexpensive, and some semi expensive, but few if any I have absolutely loved. Its clicky enough to 'get that' mechanical sound, but possible to type a little slower with little to no sound (say in the middle of the night when you have to type). Its wireless, and seemlessly plugs into the computer with a little dongle, but also has bluetooth options if required. Personally the only downside is that it does not light up, and I thought that would be a major problem, but it totally beats my expectations, and I never thought it would because of its price. I bought it on ascetics alone, because of the way it looked, but it certainly lived upto its potential. If it had backlight it would be the perfect keyboard (for me in quotes), but its definitely solid especially for office work, and the price is very nice. 5 stars for me, its beats even what I was expecting.

We wanted a new keyboard to add to our collection, and we thought the color palette was cool. When we got the keyboard, the keys definitely don't sound as good as other keyboards we've bought from Redragon, which is why it's 4 stars. Overall a cool design, just not our favorite sounding keys.

Fairly quiet with a really nice retro key sound!! only complaint is that there’s a very subtle high pitched sound from the keyboard while powered on. Not an issue for me though as wearing headphones or earbuds completely blocks it out
