GAMING MICE COMPARISON
PROS: 2 Modes of connectivity (2.4Ghz dongle with 1ms polling report rate, Wired) I personally use the wireless mode and experience no input lag, etc. Has easy modifyable buttons, 8 buttons in total. Has good grip on both sides. My hands dont sweat at all when using this mouse like other mouses. Has good battery life and won't need to charge for days depending on use. 1000 usb polling rate that has super precise movement in games such as valorant, etc.
CONS: Out of the box I had some problems with the right click becoming stuck randomly and sometimes becoming stuck and it just starts working as normal awhile later, the way i fixed was pulling up the right side gently and replacing it back in but its not a perm fix. The side grips stickyness comes loose just a bit if you use a lot for intense gaming so try not to pull on them when gripping.
Build quality: The build quality is good for the price im sure the mouse will last me for years to come. It doesn't feel cheaply made but it could be better.
Lighting: The brightness is amazing i just wish it didn't turn off every few seconds i don't touch the mouse, it really pops and gives the party vibe depending on the mode being used.
Software: The software is easy to use i had no problems learning how to use it when and other redragon mouse softwares when i got my first ever mouses. The only complaint id have is that there is only 3 modes and your not able to select the color for the scroll wheel or change the logo color to be different from the sides.
Conclusion: The Vampire Elite m686 is a very good pick if you intend on using it for gaming and need a slightly bigger sized mouse. The price could be brought down a few dollars like many products but overall amazing.
I'd give it an overall of 8/10
Large size fits my hand very well. Has 6 programmable buttons. Heavier and wider than most gaming mice, but I like the feel. DPI setting are good selection.. Overall a great mouse to game with. Recommended.
well when I ordered it, I was a bit worried since I had 3 mouses and never gotten a big mouse. Well when I received it, I was amazed. The comfort, and the fact my big hands can sit on the mouse comfortably is shocking. The software itself is very amazing.
This mouse can be plugged in directly with a wire, or wireless with the smaller USB, and works great both for general use and for gaming.
Once you download and install the M686 Vampire Elite driver from the Redragon website, you can customize the settings for pretty much everything about the mouse, from the lights, to every individual button, to the sensitivity.
The buttons have a lot of options you can set them to: General computer functions like volume up + down, mouse functions like sensitivity, a keybind function which works for any combination of keyboard buttons, or just disabiling a button so that it won't do anything if you click it accidentally.
I usually have it plugged in specifically so that I don't have to worry about battery life, so I'm not sure about that, but there's no difference in function when wired or wireless.
It also comes with a neat sticker of the Redragon logo! (not pictured, because I already stuck it somewhere else)
I really enjoy the Redragon brand.
The mouse is very customizable in RGB colors!
The redragon website has software for you to download if you would like to make more detailed adjustments to the colors and function of the mouse.
It's very customizable as far as what the mouse is capable of including speeding up or slowing down clicks and speed of the cursor.
My hand fits perfectly and doesn't even touch/ drag on my desk.
It's easy on my wrists as well.
Very cool and great quality mouse!
10/10 will buy from this brand again if and when I want to upgrade or change mouse style!
