Disappointing Image Quality, Total Let Down.

I got this webcam because I want to start a podcast; when I got it out of the box and plugged it in and the quality was atrocious. It was a gift and I didn't have the receipt so I couldn't return it. A week ago i brought it up to a friend of mine and we checked it on OBS and when we turned the brightness off on obs it was just a haze of red static noise, like the ISO was cranked to a ridiculous number. I really like Reddragon products and I have their mice and keyboards and have for almost a decade. I was relaly let down with this product.
