GASKET Design

The body structure differs from traditional screw fixing by using precision-locked covers with gaskets to assist with noise reduction and flexibility. It provides even feedback while the vertical cushioning reduces rigid noise, delivering a crisp, clean and softer typing feel.

YES! TRUE HOT-SWAP

The transformative innovation with 99.8%+ switches compatible free-mod hot swappable Redragon keyboard is available now. The unique exclusive structure design of the socket makes the switch mounting easier and less wobbling.

Noise Dampening x 3

Equipped with 3.5mm PO foam, IXPE switch foam, bottom socket foam along with the silicone gasket. Greatly reduces the hollow noise, creating dampened and clean typing acoustics, making each keystroke satisfying and comfortable.

Wired 68 Keys Layout

Redragon 65% layout K709 in wired mode meets the user's need for separate arrow keys and extra function keys. 68 keys ultra-compact and lightweight slim design frees up precious desk space for less clutter.

Custom Dragon Chant Switch

With thick-lubed custom linear switches combo with a gasket form factor, K709 features cushioned rich linear travel with silky creamy and cozy typing feedback.

Dedicated for FPS Gamer

Place the keyboard proper straight on your desktop and no more crooked way for mouse space saving, your mouse will never hit the keyboard any more. Enjoy waving the mouse without any worries and go get that Team Kills.

Great Keyboard features for the price

I recently bought this keyboard for my wife to leave at her office desk. She wanted a mechanical keyboard similar to her 60% at home. She also wants a little bit of color but does not need fully customizable RGB lighting so rainbow LEDs are more than sufficient.
She also prefers dedicated arrow keys and a prntscr (the latter of which is not avaialble of her old keyboard. The amount of features on this new keyboard is phenomenal compared to keyboards from 3-4 years ago. Gaskets mounts, sound insulation and the new dragon chant switches. Her old keyboard uses Jixian blue switches (which are a noiser clone version of mx-blue). Even though she prefers the sound, it may not be the most popular in an office environment. These dragon chant switches retain the mechanical feel but very much silent.
The only issue we've had out of the box is that the software NovaK709 reports that the keyboard is missing or disconnected. We've tried different ports, different computers, rebooting the computers, and even 2 different (know good) USB C cables. However, this will not be an issue anyway, because her office laptop does not allow any 3rd party software to be installed anyway so leaving the keyboard lighting dependent on the built-in profiles is the only possible way.
There is nothing wrong with the original keycaps. They are standard ABS keycaps with the Redragon font. However, since she uses (and prefers) MOA profile keycaps, I decided to pick up 2 sets of aftermarket keycaps in a somewhat more playful design. Shown installed are the "purple bunny" and "green dog" caps. In the end, she chose the dog-themed caps.
(I then repurposed the OEM white keycaps and used some of them on my K556 keyboard for a black-and-white theme, while retaining the Redragon aesthetic).
Both my wife and I are left-handed so it felt a little bit weird for the USB cable coming out of the left side. We would have preferred a semi-centered back side located port but I know that it wont make a long-term difference.

Typing experience. I tried the K709 myself to see if the switch type will affect my typing. Coming from Brown Outemu switches from my K556, the switch feel is definitely different. Honestly, my typing speed and accuracy was slightly faster but the 60-65% layout is definitely not for me.

Easy

Honestly does what it need to do, nothing wrong with it. Only wished it sounded like the pro but the space bar and backspace does atleast.

Good budget keyboard

Awesome budget keyboard, silent clacks with a really good feel, I like the num pad delete but didn’t notice the F key delete, wish it had F keys, other than that, great keyboard.
