Nice headphones that are also comfortable to wear, but my wire broke.

I am very happy with my purchase. The microphone sounds great and the sound quality is very good. The onboard controls are quality and easy to use.

I've only had the headphones a week or two, but it's really good so far. As soon as I got it I did testing with all my favorite music and games and it sounded phenomenal. It's really lightweight and the earmuffs are comfy. Some noise does bleed out at higher volume, but it hasn't reached the mic. Overall I would definitely recommend them if you aren't looking for something too expensive. Thanks for reading my review and have a good day!

These are very good I can't complain. The sound of these are like expensive ones. They are a little bit of plastic, but there is some metal too.

In the box you get a 3.5mm splitter for mic and audio output, a USB type c to 3.5mm main cable, a USB type a adapter for 7.1 surround sound on PC, a detachable microphone with pop filter and lastly the H386 headset themselves. Also for the people wondering, these are NOT open-back headphones. They are closed-back.

On the headset you will find a volume wheel to raise or lower incoming audio. Sadly no wheel for mic volume but it can be adjusted in software. There's also a hole for the microphone to plug into and then a mic mute and unmute switch.

The headset only weighs 188g which shocked me when I felt the difference compared to my daily Hyperx Orbit S headset that weigh a whopping 368g. I could wear these for HOURS with zero strain on my neck. And I used my wife's sensitive head to test out the clamping force and I'm happy to say it's wife-approved. She actually wants to take them from me. Between the lightweight hexagonal design, and ample cushioning from the earcups and headband these are some of the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn.

Mic quality is rough. The headphones bleed enough sound that the mic often picks up noise causing an echo effect which I experienced when Plague was screaming in Apex :Kappa: I tried to ignore it and continue testing the mic but it got to a point where it was unbearable and I muted the mic and switched to my standalone Redragon GM300 Blazar cardiod mic. It's decent sounding if you don't have the budget for a separate mic but I wouldn't recommend it long-term.

And now for the sound quality that most people care about. In my personal opinion, these headphones excel at creating a nicely detailed sound stage that's perfect for open-world RPG games like Skyrim or Monster Hunter where you can hear loads of creatures and background noises. In FPS games these fall short in comparison to the marginally more expensive H510 Zeus headset. These do not pick up footsteps and gunshots as well as the H510. You can make them work a bit better by messing with the EQ software but you will have to fine-tune it by yourself as all of the presets are aimed at music genres. It's worth mentioning that the music presets do NOT sound very good either. You can use them as a guideline to customize your own profile tho. These DO however sound PHENOMENAL for music when simply plugged into my cellphone just listening to random music. The bass isn't super deep or in-your-face but it's still present. Mids are great and highs are crisp. Even at max volume (on both the headphones and my phone) I couldn't get these headphone to show me any sort of distortion or crackling. They remained crystal clear which is a pleasant surprise from a $43 headset aimed at gaming.

Final thoughts: These have got to be some of the best bang for buck headphones out there and are a clear representation of the market space Redragon has always aimed at. I will now direct people to these if they normally play RPG/open world games and over to the H510 Zeus if they prefer FPS games.
