SURGE GS817

I like the sound quality I like how the aux Port is ready and also I like the buttons in the knob especially the RGB but there's one issue I do not like this is just minor depends I wish when you turn it on it doesn't sound like a Chinese lady

It works great with the Gaming Lap top, nice sound and volume setting gets it more than loud enough. Wish there were more options for a static color just white was disappointing (even most key boards have red, cryan, green and some version of purple) But, it did not make me return it. I have to tried to see if the blue tooth works yet. Overall though very pleased with the speaker and the price was good! I had checked around at several speakers before settling on this one!

Bonus when ordered it say 7-10 days I got it in 2 days!

Having used the Redragon GS817 SURGE for a while now, I wanted to share my personal take on how these speakers actually perform on a real desk. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between "gaming vibes" and genuine sound quality, here is my experience:

First Impressions & Build
Right out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the compact footprint. I have a pretty crowded desk with dual monitors, and these fit perfectly underneath without making the space feel cluttered. The build is solid; they used a high-density material that doesn't feel like cheap plastic, and the matte finish is great for hiding fingerprints.

Living with the RGB
I’m a sucker for a clean lighting setup, and the Aura lighting on these is smooth. I usually keep mine on the "Breath" mode, but you can cycle through a few different effects using a touch-sensitive button on the top. It’s bright enough to look cool but not so distracting that it pulls your focus away from the screen during a late-night session.

Audio: How it Actually Sounds
In-Game: For 2.0 speakers, the stereo separation is impressive. In FPS games, I can actually hear the direction of environmental cues and footsteps clearly.

Music & Movies: The "Surge" name makes sense once you turn them up—the bass is punchy even without a separate subwoofer. The highs stay crisp, and I haven't noticed any distortion, even at higher volumes.

The Signature: It’s a very balanced profile. It’s not just "all bass"—the mids are clear enough that dialogue in YouTube videos or Discord chats doesn't get buried.

Daily Use & Connectivity
The volume knob is right on the front, which is way more convenient than fumbling for Windows volume keys mid-game. I also love that it has Bluetooth mode; I often switch from my PC audio over to my phone to stream a podcast while I’m moving around the room, and the transition is seamless.

Future Suggestion: The "Crystal" Edition
Looking ahead, I think a full transparent version (similar to the K649 Crystal Keyboard) would be an incredible addition to the lineup.

Imagine a GS817 "Crystal" edition with:

Clear Polished Acrylic Housing: Allowing the internal components and drivers to be visible for a "tech-heavy" aesthetic.

Internal RGB Glow: Instead of just external light strips, the entire speaker body could glow, creating a stunning desk ambient light effect that matches the K649's look.

Frosted Accents: To help diffuse the light evenly while maintaining that premium, high-end feel.

If you’re a minimalist who still wants a "cinematic" feel to your audio, the current GS817 SURGE is a huge win—but a transparent version would definitely take the "cool factor" to the next level!

The speaker arrived in about 2 weeks, the only complaint is that I didnt get an eu power adapter, but I did have a different one so no worries.

This speaker is amazing , honestly I was blown away with the quality of sound , the bass that's coming from it so deep , I cant recommend it enough , only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because there is only 5 RGB colours and NO RED! it should have more options so I just keep the lights off but if you don't care about that then its easy 5 stars
