i bought this as a gifft for my cousin and he loves it
I was excited when this pre-sale/early sale was announced with this new 96% style keyboard in this form factor, but even more so when the special artwork of the K686 PRO was coming out. I had to have it! Especially at such competitive pricing. Well, surprising enough, the keyboard is even better in person in my opinion. Noting the great artwork on the backplate and spacebar as my particular favorite parts to look at.
I was excited when this keyboard style and even more excited with this special art style of the EISA K686 PRO model was announced. Upon further review, I decided I had to have it at such a competitive price! It actually surprised me it is better in person in my opinion. Especially the art on the backplate, plus spacebar to note specifically.
The size is perfect for a small desk or travel. Multiple connection options as well as corded or wireless options. I'm using it corded so can't confirm battery life but it should be adequate for at least a full days use.
Despite the smaller size the keyboard is full size with a number pad and very responsive. Surprisingly quiet key action. The knob adjustment feature is pretty awesome.
This also just looks amazing! The artwork is vibrant and adds a touch of fun . I wasn't expecting the full size artwork on the back. While it won't be visible when the keyboard is on my desk it is nonetheless gorgeous!
I like the style and design of this keyboard, and I imagine that's what attracts most people to it. In addition to the aesthetics it has some good design, too. The ability to switch between wired, BT, and a USB receiver is convenient. Battery life is good, and the thick foam pad under the keys to help with noise suppression.

Lows:
- insufficient RGB lighting from default keycaps and switches
- some keys irregularly sized (right hand alt, ctrl, shift, numpad insert, etc) so not easy to replace those keycaps
