Purchased roughly 4 months ago and so far it’s been great. I use it heavily (4-8 hours daily) and I haven’t had any issues pop up yet. I set the backlight to red to match my PC and leave it there. I don’t use the software for it so I can’t comment on that, but I love the keyboard. It comes with spare switches you can install if you start getting issues with any of the switches, which is a nice touch. Can definitely recommend this keyboard.
Picture shows that keycaps are removable and you may customize them also great for cleaning your keyboad. I got this because of the multi-connection option. I can toggle between devices and the media buttons are a plus. I can't go back to a keyboard that doesn't have those media keys. The interchangeable lights are amazing to me. Would is it more often in the dark though. Overall I love this keyboard. It has good weight to it but it's slim in comparison to other known brands.
I am in love. I am unsure if they have made a revised version as the website had updated software and the keys are slightly different than every video I have seen (Typically older). The Connectivity and Sleep Mode have been resolved and their is no lag in any mode at the time of this review. Switching between modes has been hardcoded into the switch on the side and connects to everything I have used flawlessly. I do wish I had gone with the Blue Switches however this was on sale and they were an extra $20. Outstanding and could not be happier. My son received an Redragon K551 Full Size with Blue Switches and I must say I like them. Overall we have become a Redragon family of supporters. I have made a whole list of accessories I want to get and try money willing. I currently have this (K618) a (S107) mouse/keyboard and the keyboard has returned to the box as a backup, and the H848 Ultra Lightweight Headphones that are also amazing and blows away the even cheaper knock off brand I had before. All in all I have fallen in love with this brand and will continue to purchase from them if they offer the accessory I am looking for. Case, Fans, Power Supply, Monitor I want it all. Hope this helps anyone in 2024 as the keyboard has been widely improved since the reviews I read.
Major Changes I Notices:
Lighting effects have replaced media keys and are not longer controlled for the most part through the FN button.;
The connectivity switch is now a physical button and it will automatically switch to USB when it is plugged in regardless of mode. This allows you to just plug in the USB-C cable and not worry about remembering to select FN+F5 for USB as that is not even an option any longer.
It includes a WIN/MAC button to switch keyboard to a Mac Layout if needed. Not needed for me but nice.
